Melbourne Fashion Festival with an African touch to it

 L’Oreal Melbourne Fashion Festival held between the 14th – 20th March, 2011 had some interesting colorful and loud African-Inspired pieces on the runway!

Colorful fabrics that remind us of Africa,be keen... i wasnt keen enough on these images  but the guys at HauteAfrica spotted Statement Necklaces strongly influenced by the Kenyan/Tanzanian Masai warriors, head wraps were the order of the day, were referenced to Northern African with the Sudanese/Ethiopian inspired head gears, free fitting pieces of Senegalese boubous and a head wrap from West Africa particularly Nigeria.
