Hand clap to Malawi for banning polygamy

Muslims in Malawi have been angered by government plans to ban polygamy.A spokesman for the Muslim Association of Malawi told the BBC the proposed law would discriminate against the country's Muslim minority.
He said with about 6% more women than men in Malawi, if polygamy were banned, many women would be left without a husband and become prostitutes. What i wanna know is, how is that even connected!!!??? seriously, that is your excuse for not wanting to ban polygamy!!! somebody shoot me!

The gender minister said the ban was necessary to prevent women from being abused in polygamous relationships. She said problems occurred because men could not give their full attention to more than one woman. "When a man has two, three, four wives, they are not co-operative - one will be the loved one," said Gender Minister Patricia Kaliati.

"It had not been a hasty decision and there had been wide consultation about the matter," she said.
But Imran Shareef Muhammed - secretary general of the Muslim Association of Malawi - disputed this."The minister is lying - she didn't consult the Muslim community," he said.
"If these people go ahead banning polygamous marriages it means many women will go into prostitution. I just have a couple of words to tel  him...Dear Mister Imran Shareef, contact us when you get a better more intellectual and 'higher quality' excuse... after survey that is..

"Every woman has the right to be under the shelter of a man." has says..Pshhhhhhhh!!! Men...
He said under Sharia law, polygamy was optional. "I have only one wife, my dear wife... but the moment they proceed with this, I will take a second wife," he said.

Hand clap to Malawi for banning polygamy!!! I think its high time we start banning it country to country...

Shakira - CNN The Big 360 Interview Arizona Immigration Bill (HD)

Shakira has joined the growing chorus of opposition to Arizona's new immigration law.
she  met with leaders Thursday in Arizona Thursday before talking about the issue on CNN's "AC 360." She said some police and lawmakers in Arizona are worried about how the new law will be implemented.

"The mayor is very, very worried, as well as the chief of police here," Shakira said. "They're both very worried about the impact that implementation of this law will have on Latino families, the level of abuse that will be inflicted on Latinos, with or without papers
The new measure requires Arizona police to determine whether people are in the United States legally if there is a reason to suspect they aren't.

The law, scheduled to go into effect 90 days after the close of the state's legislative session, would require immigrants to carry their alien registration documents at all times.
Supporters claim it is needed to control illegal immigration. Critics counter, saying it will create government-sanctioned racial profiling...which is very true.
Shakira said she talked to women in Arizona who said they were scared about how the law would affect them.

"I just met with some families and women who have been subjected to domestic violence, and they are so concerned," the singer said. "They're going to live in fear to call the police or to report a crime that has been inflicted to them. They're trying to protect their kids and their own families from abusers. and now they're going to have to protect themselves from the government."

Summer Trend: The Crop Top

This trend inspires you to hit the gym and have a good work out because lets face it, muffin-top season is gone and wont be coming back for  a long time. The majority of people I have seen wearing crop tops were celebrities or models on catwalks.Crop tops were first introduced to the catwalks in 2009 by designers Alexander Wang, Rachel Comey, House of Holland, Proenza Schouler and Phillip Lim and since then Hollywood cant get enough of them!.

Ok, so we may not have that beach body all of the time, but we have to figure out a way to get it or this trend will make us look ridiculous!.... The idea is not to wear the crop it as if we're in the 80's bring them to 21st century... Look best when worn with high waisted trousers, shorts and skirts

. If you are feeling confident then you can sport the crop top like Daisy Lowe with denim cut off shorts, bearing most of the midriff. If you want to keep the look a little more low key, then wearing a crop top with high waisted jeans and a blazer or waistcoat keeps the outfit a little more demure and less obvious. And for those who are a bit uncomfortable with showing their midrift, you can always layer it.
